Enabling Remote Access
To pass control of your computer to Hugh you must first find the little blue man
on the bottom right hand corner of your screen. He is the icon for Windows Messenger.
In this picture he is between the green blob with the white tick (which is the icon
for Skype) and the number 237. Put your mouse pointer on top of him and click once.
This box will appear. Left click once with your Mouse on Open.
You can tell from this box which of your contacts are available. Here AC, Derek,
Gavin and Robert are offline (the figures appear red and it says they are offline).
Hugh, Jane and Robin are all online, but Jane is away from her computer and Robin
is busy. Put your Mouse pointer on Hugh's name and give a single click with your
left mouse.
This is how you first communicate with any of your contacts
Next you will click where it says 'start Remote Assistance' to the right of our
conversation

Now click on 'Yes' in the new, Remote Assistance, box
This will appear
Then this. Click on Yes in the new smaller box to the right
Hugh now has control of my computer. If I want to talk to him at the same time we
can do so with Skype.
Once he has solved your problem he will hand back control.
All that remains for you to do is click OK in the small box.
