Case Studies
As these modules show, our Hawk technology can be used to fulfill many different
needs. Below are two case studies of programs produced by Computer ConQuest for
our clients, they have been named Condor and Armadillo.
Condor
Condor was developed for a medical treatment practitioner. He needed a system which
would allow him to make appointments for his clients over his range of clinics,
with different consultants having access to a patients medical history, photos of
previous ailments and other important information. He required an automated system.
Our Software Development team was able to save him time and money by integrating
Outlook Contacts and Outlook Calendar to provide a central location for staff to
share client and appointment details. They linked to our Picture Sharing functionality
enabling consultants to share images of treatments needed for diagnosing and treating
patients in different clinics and in some cases over different counties. Our team
developed the SMS text message module to send automated appointment reminders to
clients.
The client was so impressed with the work done by our team that the application
is being installed in all branches of his clinics.
Armadillo
Armadillo was developed
for a particularly demanding client. Ourselves. We needed a tool which would combine
all aspects of our business in one easy to use, simple application.
The most important
design feature of Armadillo is a system with the ability to work seamlessly on or
offline. This allows our consultants to work on the move and in remote locations
where there is no internet. Files are automatically synched over the net and stored
on each machine running the application. Every time a file is updated, the information
is transferred to every computer in the system. This enables large amounts of data
to be transferred safely and securely without the problems of excessively big cumbersome
emails.
